In this quaint, charming and grassroots residential part of town where old Hong Kong occupations and shops are still in existence, you’ll be able to experience some of the best foods in Hong Kong. Discover the best of Whampoa as you will meander through the streets, checking out the local wet market, visitng the famous Kwun Yam Temple, and dining at some of the tastiest hole-in-the-wall shops of Hong Kong. The "scariest" of the food is up to you as you'll be picking your own toppings for noodles, etc. so you can do beef brisket or organs or anything from the tail to the nose.

Eating your way through Whampoa like a progressive meal, you will learn about the 5 flavours in Chinese cuisine - sweet, spicy, salty, bitter and sour - and you'll be able to taste them all as well.

What's the refund policy?

Tour cancellations are made only through an email request to: info@humidwithachanceoffishballs.com. If you cancel at least 7 day(s) (calculated from your confirmed event start time and date) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.

Bad Weather Policy

We run our tours until it’s physically unsafe for us to do so. In the case of extremely inclement weather, all events will be cancelled if the Hong Kong Observatory announces that the Red or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted or the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal: T8, T9, or T10 is hoisted.

Dietary Restrictions

This food tour has a pescatarian and vegetarian menu and are safe for those with peanut allergies. If you have dietary restrictions, you MUST inform us at time of booking. We are not able to cater to celiacs as this time (the risk of cross contamination is much too high unf).

Minimum Numbers

We require a minimum number of 2 guests to run this tour. If the minimum number of guests for the tour is not met, we will notify guests 24 hours in advance of the event start time and date and simply refund you in full.
