We are thrilled to be sharing this world premiere written especially for this year’s Voice Majors of Walnut Hill School for the Arts. The story, libretto and music were created by Composer Charles Turner.

George Balanchine’s Serenade is the first ballet he created after arriving in America 90 years ago. Set to Tchaikovsky’s luminous score, this elegant work beautifully illustrates the choreographer’s unparalleled musicality and graceful technique.
