Set up an online-only event

Use Eventbrite to create and run online events. Create your event as normal but set the location to “Online”. This lets you create a dedicated online event page to host the links to your webinar, livestream, and other resources attendees need. Only registered attendees can access this page.

<h2 id="01">Set up your online event page</h2> <p>Your “online event page” is a dedicated page for registered attendees. Add everything they need for your event, such as the links to your webinar, livestream, and other resources. Only attendees who registered for your event are able to view the online event page.</p> <h3 id="01-1">1. Set your event’s location to “Online”.</h3> <p>Create an online event:</p> <ol><li>Go to &quot;Manage events&quot; in your account.</li><li>Select “Create event”.</li><li>Under “Location”, select “Online”.</li><li>Save your changes.</li></ol> <p>For Premium users with Eventbrite Music, select “Online” (under “Venue”).</p> <h3 id="01-2">2. Go to “Online event page”.</h3> <h3 id="01-3">3. Add your livestream, webinar, and more to this page.</h3> <p>Add any resources attendees need to attend your event. Choose from the listed services (like Zoom and Vimeo Live) or add a direct link to your livestream or webinar.<br><br>Then, edit the look and feel of your online event page.</p> <ul><li>Add text, images, video, or links to your page</li><li>Click a section’s gear wheel to change its visibility</li><li>Rearrange sections with the up-down arrows</li><li>Click the trash can to delete a section</li></ul> <p>The online event page stays live after your event too.</p> <h3 id="01-4">4. Save your changes. Click “Preview” to view your online event page.</h3> <h3 id="01-5">5. Finish creating your event.</h3> <p>Before publishing your event, make sure to:</p> <ul><li>Go to “Details” and add an event image, summary, and description.</li><li>Go to “Tickets” and create free or paid tickets for your event.</li><li>Review your event details and make your event live under “Publish”.</li></ul> <p>eblink{Learn more about creating and publishing an event=&gt;}.</p> <h2 id="02">Understand your attendee’s experience</h2> <h3 id="02-1">1. Attendees get a link to your online event page.</h3> <p>Attendees can find your online event page from:</p> <ul><li>The confirmation email they get after registering</li><li>The event listing on Eventbrite (after registering)</li><li>The email reminders they get before the event</li></ul> <h3 id="02-2">2. Attendees sign in to view your content.</h3> <p>For security reasons, attendees must log in with their Eventbrite account to view the online event page.<br><br>When they get to the online event page:</p> <ul><li>If they are logged in with the correct account, they see your content.</li><li>If they aren’t logged in or logged in with an incorrect account, they&#39;re prompted to sign in again.</li></ul> <h2 id="03">Learn more</h2> <h3 id="03-1">1.
