The Wandering Voice

The Wandering Voice is aiming to empower minorities in Hong Kong through truthful media representation and meaningful educational programs that raise awareness from the public. 

Asylum seekers, domestic workers and ethnic minorities take up 8% of Hong Kong population but have long being misunderstood and misrepresented in the media. Media misrepresentation leads to how people would generally perceive and treat the minorities in Hong Kong. 

Our solutions are truthful media representation and school/public projects. Our media contents are well-received within different communities which empower them to pursue their goals in the society. Therefore, we aim to make The Wandering Voice a driving force in changing people’s perspectives and actions to different communities in Hong Kong. As for school and educational programs, we will engage students with the minorities and contribute to media contents and give talks to raise awareness from the public.
