Reimagining Columbus

With support from the Mellon Foundation’s Monuments Project, the City of Columbus, Ohio has committed to create new public art and commemorative spaces that reflect the city’s collective history, values, aspirations, and to reckon with our city’s namesake, Christopher Columbus. This project will include creating new public art for the City Hall Campus along with a new geographic and contextual setting for the Christopher Columbus statue which will not return to City Hall.
