My Healing Language
My Healing Language™ is a trauma-informed healing and education platform created by Glenda Macatangay—survivor, therapist, artist, and facilitator—rooted in ancestral wisdom, ancient teachings, and embodied learning.
This work sits at the intersection of science, spirit, story, culture, and the body. My Healing Language centers survivors, caregivers, leaders, and communities navigating inherited trauma, relational harm, life transitions, and identity shifts—especially those whose experiences are often overlooked or misunderstood by dominant frameworks.
Guided by ancestral healing traditions and time-honored practices across cultures, My Healing Language invites participants to learn through the body, not just the mind. Embodied practices—such as somatic awareness, ritual, reflection, movement, breath, and creative expression—support nervous system regulation, self-trust, and deeper integration beyond insight alone.
Through workshops, retreats, talks, and community gatherings, My Healing Language offers:
Ancestral and culturally rooted approaches to healing and care
Ancient teachings translated for modern, lived experience
Embodied practices that support safety, regulation, and relational repair
Language for boundaries, values, accountability, and collective wellbeing
Spaces that honor both personal healing and shared responsibility
This work does not rush transformation or prescribe solutions. It invites slowing down, listening to the body, remembering inherited wisdom, and telling the truth without shame.
Events hosted under My Healing Language are designed to be accessible, reflective, and grounded in dignity—supporting participants in remembering who they are beneath survival, roles, and expectations.
