Body Brain Belief CIC is a Wigan-based community organisation supporting women and families to look after their health and wellbeing in realistic ways.
We create small, welcoming sessions where people can slow down, feel supported, and learn simple ways to look after themselves — even when life feels busy or overwhelming.
Our work is based on a simple idea: wellbeing needs to work in real life.
Many of the people we support are juggling work, family life, and responsibilities, and often feel there is no time or energy left for themselves. We design our sessions to remove pressure and make support feel approachable and achievable.
Everything we run is shaped by listening to local people. We regularly ask women what makes it hard to look after their health — and what would genuinely help — and use this to design our sessions.
Our sessions often include:
• Creative wellbeing activities
• Gentle movement and walks
• Relaxed discussion sessions
• Practical wellbeing tools
• Opportunities to connect with others
Most people come on their own and new faces are always welcome.
Our aim is to help people feel a little calmer, more supported, and more confident looking after themselves.
