Hackergal

Hackergal is a Canadian charity with a mission to close the gender gap by reshaping who leads, who builds, and who belongs in STEAM through future-ready learning experiences.

We work directly with educators, education systems, and organizations across the country - providing educators, community leaders, and parents with the tools they need to increase girls’ and gender-diverse learners’ access to STEAM education in their schools and communities.

We are committed to reaching more girls* and gender-diverse learners across Canada, with a focus on BIPOC communities, French-speaking communities, as well as northern, remote and rural communities. Hackergal is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. We welcome the participation of girls, gender-diverse, non-binary, and two-spirit learners. We use an inclusive definition of “girls” and “women” and welcome the participation of all learners who identify as girls.
