Camden FireWorks

Camden FireWorks

Camden FireWorks is a Black-led, community-based arts organization located in a South Camden, NJ residential neighborhood. The 1889 firehouse where we are located was the base of operations for Engine No. 3 and currently serves as the creative home for 13 studio artists. FireWorks artists include photographers, potters, painters, spoken word poets, fashion designers and jewelry makers.

Since 2016, we have worked to grow, gather, and invest in artists and artists-to-be in our community and offer our programs at minimal cost to participants.

Our mission is to use art to create social change. In all of our efforts, our objective is that our reach in the community be equity-driven, multi-generational, and culturally centered.
