Bristol Shorinji Kempo Dojo

Shorinji Kempo is a Japanese martial art which focuses on three main benefits - healthy mind, healthy body, and self defence. It includes both "hard" (punching and kicking) and "soft" (escaping and pinning) techniques. We also teach philosophy, meditation, and recuperative massage, for a complete system of mental and physical fitness.

Beginners are always welcome, all you need is comfortable gym clothes, a water bottle, and some enthusiasm. Our classes will teach you self confidence and self defence skills. You'll have a lot of fun as part of our community, while also keeping fit.

At Bristol Shorinji Kempo dojo you will be part of the British Shorinji Kempo Federation, and can join us meeting up with other dojos across the UK and the world.
