The Local Exchange is a West Virginia–based nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and communities through local food systems, agricultural education, and wellness initiatives. Through programs such as beginner and advanced organic gardening courses, farmers market development, youth agriculture initiatives, and community wellness conferences, The Local Exchange connects individuals to the skills and resources needed to grow food, improve health, and build economic resilience.
