Éist - Saying No To Silence
Éist - meaning "listen" in Irish - is a support and advocacy organisation dedicated to victims and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
Founded on the principle that no one should feel unheard or alone in the aftermath of trauma, Éist exists to listen, to support, and to guide.
Éist is not a replacement for the essential services already working tirelessly in this space - we stand beside them.
Our mission is to fill the "grey area" where many survivors often fall through the cracks, particularly in the immediate aftermath of a crisis.
Through compassion, confidentiality, and community, Éist ensures that those affected by sexual and gender-based violence are not silenced. We are here to listen — and to help survivors reclaim their voice, their strength, and their path forward.
Become Éist Aware and join our Zero Tolerance Midlands Campaign
At Éist, we believe that real change begins in our communities - in our businesses, organisations, schools and shared spaces. By becoming Éist Aware and taking the Zero Tolerance Pledge, your business/organisation/community group is taking a powerful stand against gender-based violence and showing a commitment to dignity, equality, and informed compassion.
