We built The Argo because we saw the need for a place like this—one that could deliver great shows, great food, and real connection without losing sight of the people who make it all happen.
Located in the historic Fox Bay Theater just north of downtown Milwaukee, The Argo brings three spaces together under one roof: a 700-capacity entertainment hall, a full-service bar and kitchen serving elevated food and craft drinks, and a flexible event space built to host everything from weddings and festivals to community markets and private celebrations.
The Argo is a premium experience—thoughtful in every detail, from the backstage to the barstools—but without the pretense. The Argo will make you feel special the moment you walk in—whether you’re catching a sold-out show, grabbing brunch with friends, or finally hosting that thing you’ve been talking about for years.
We’ve lived every angle of this industry—touring in vans, pulling shifts behind bars, booking shows that barely made gas money, managing venues, and performing until the wheels fell off. We’ve seen the best of it. We’ve felt the burnout. The Argo is our way of tipping the scales back toward the good—for our peers, for our city, and for the next generation coming up behind us.
