Using creative writing exercises, participants will engage with various levels of characterization, including the outward, online personal, and the interior, true self. Through dialogue and peer feedback, you'll delve into the impact of social media on self-perception while honing your writing skills. This is an opportunity to connect with fellow creatives, share stories, and gain insights into building dynamic characters.
About the Speaker:
Liann Zhang is a second-generation Chinese Canadian. After a short stint as a skincare content creator, she graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in psychology and criminology. Her first novel, Julie Chan Is Dead, was an instant international bestseller.
