美力 Where Beauty Meets Strength
In Chinese, the word 美丽 (měilì) means “beautiful.” But for this event, we’ve made a small change with a big meaning: we’ve replaced 丽 with 力, the character for “strength.”
美力 (měilì) — a new word that transforms beauty into strength, and strength into beauty. For many women in Asia, beauty has long been defined by appearance alone. We’re rewriting that story, showing that true beauty lives not in how we look, but in what our bodies can do.
This event is about rewriting narratives. It’s about breaking down old definitions and building new ones together. We will move, we will speak, & we will gather in strength and community.

- Strength Workout (1:00PM–2:00 PM) led by Stella Audrey Lee ,Hong Kong powerlifter and Asphodel coach
- Panel Discussion (2:30–3:30 PM) — a conversation on women, sport, and redefining beauty
