About this event

Do you have a yoga wheel and aren't quite sure how to use it? Or have you been curious about the yoga wheel and would like to learn the different ways you can use it in your yoga practice?

Join Manila’s wheel yoga workshop to learn different ways you can use a Yoga Wheel to stretch, strengthen and open up. The Yoga Wheel can be used as an athletic stretching and recovery tool and helpful for gaining more flexibility in your spine, hips, and shoulders. It is great for core work and for strengthening all the major muscle groups. The yoga wheel is like yin for your spine, physical therapy and a massage all in one!

Workshop details

• Learning how to stretch/warm-up safely

• How to perform back-bends with the Wheel

• Learn different poses using the Wheel

• Strengthening balance and coordination

• How to open up your shoulders.

• How to open up your hip

The Yoga Room is a boutique yoga studio in the heart of Sheung Wan with four studios (3/F, 4/F,6/F and 16/F) and our office on the 15/F. Convenient to such locations as Central, Soho, IFC and Shun Tak. The Yoga Room is a sanctuary amidst the chaos below with its spacious and bright feel.

With a focus on small classes and high quality, personalized instruction, the teachers of The Yoga Room radiate with warmth and knowledge from their extensive and diverse training. All levels of practitioners are welcome – feel free to discuss with our instructors any of your special needs.

The Yoga Room offers over 100 classes per week designed for the beginner to the advanced.  The Yoga Room is proud to offer group classes in Hot Yoga, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Jivamukti,  Mindfulness Yoga, Vinyasa, Mat Pilates, Pre-natal Yoga, Prenatal Pilates, Mum & Baby Yoga, and Kids Yoga, all taught by Certified instructors. We also offer private classes at our studios or at your preferred location.
