About the speaker:
Nick Wong is the Managing Partner and Responsible Officer of Altive Limited. He is responsible for leading the firm’s key strategic, investment and business development initiatives.
Prior to that, he was the Head of Business Development for Apoidea Group, Altive’s parent company and a Fintech startup focusing on providing AI solutions to financial institutions. He led several banks to implement their first AI solution project.
Before that, Nick was the founding Greater China team member of Macquarie AM, one of the largest alternative investment manager globally. He was responsible for bringing Macquarie’s investment expertise to institutional investors in the region. He also advised investors on investment-related issues including asset allocations, capital charge usage, asset-liability matching, fund structure set up, etc.
In his earlier career at Macquarie, he was the lead of the firm’s wholesale business in Hong Kong and responsible for forming partnerships with private banks and family office in the region.
