WALL CYCLE performance 1.0

CHARBON is a platform dedicated to arts in South District Wong Chuk Hang. It is an hybrid, multipurpose art space which offers to the public exhibitions throughout the year, but also artist sharing & talks, film documentaries and movies screenings, live shows (drama, contemporary dance) and an art library. The purpose here is to create a place full of art and full of life, to host people working, chatting, reading, making, exchanging, meeting, creating and making noise, to provoque blends of different types of artistic expressions.

CHARBON art space

From 2 to 16 December, artist Anne Leigniel moves her studio to CHARBON ! She will be painting directly on a 5 meters long wall, everyday for 2 weeks, using the gallery as a live canvas, each day bringing its own creative layer of experimentation. As part of her performance, Leigniel invites a number of selected artists to interact with her work : fine art artists will collaborate and play, contributing to make each day a unique and ephemeral work of art. This public performance shows Anne Leigniel working together with dancer Arumimi Hifumi and musician HakGwai.
