This edition of Vino Condiviso celebrates Italy’s most planted red native grape: Sangiovese. Originated from Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, Sangiovese is both popular and prestigious. It forms the base of some of the most famous DOCG wines in Italy: Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti, Chianti Classico, Morellino di Scansano, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and many more.

The first part of the event features a walk around tasting of Sangiovese wines from various regions in Italy. This is followed by a BYOS (bring your own Italian Sangiovese) lunch. Guests can either bring their favourite Sangiovese or choose to buy a bottle on site.

Inspired by the Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna regions, the team at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong has prepared a scrumptious lunch buffet for us to enjoy.

這次的「意酒共享」將慶祝意大利種植最廣泛的本地紅葡萄品種:桑嬌維賽(Sangiovese)。桑嬌維賽既廣受歡迎又極具聲望,是意大利多款著名DOCG級葡萄酒的主要葡萄,包括:Brunello di Montalcino、Chianti、Chianti Classico、Morellino di Scansano、Vino Nobile di Montepulciano等著名產區。

嘉賓可在第一環節的品嚐會中品嚐不同產區的桑嬌維賽佳釀。第二環節是BYOS (Bring your own Italian Sangiovese)午宴。帶著意酒共享的精神,我們邀請每一位嘉賓帶來(或在現場購買)一瓶義大利的桑嬌維賽酒與其他參加者共同分享。

香港君悅酒店團隊特別以托斯卡納和艾米利亞-羅馬涅大區為靈感,為我們準備了豐盛美味的自助午餐。

The name "The Greatest Sangiovese Race" took inspirations from "Bravio delle Botti", a traditional barrel race in Montepulciano between the eight districts of the town.

Each barrel, weighing about 80 kg, is pushed by two athletes – known as “pushers” – along the winding uphill path that develops through the picturesque streets of Montepulciano’s historical center for about 1.6 km, up to the Cathedral square in “Piazza Grande” which represents the finish line.
