Description

This workshop looks at techniques that use competition and games to enhance learning and speed up progression. It will be an interactive lesson giving you lots of things to use in the classroom. The session will be led by Philip Kilgallon.

Mr. Kilgallon worked for three years in Nord Anglia’s Regents International School, Thailand as a Spanish and French Teacher and the Head of Year 9 prior to joining NAIS. He was a teacher for six years in England before that, teaching in Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy in Runcorn, and Fairfield High School in Widnes. He obtained a PGCE from John Moore’s University in Modern Foreign Languages, a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Liverpool in Spanish and Music, and has recently received an MA in Education and Leadership from the University of Chester.

As a Head of Year, a form tutor, and a teacher from Year 3 up to Year 13, he has experience throughout schools in England, and internationally.
