A renowned contemporary composer, Alexander Goehr has established himself as one of the foremost composers of his generation. Goehr's Confucius-inspired "The Master Said" for narrator and orchestra (2016) will mark its world première by Hong Kong Sinfonietta on 8 Feb 2020 at HK City Hall.

Few days before the concert, music-lovers will have a close-up encounter with Goehr alongside Hong Kong Sinfonietta Concertmaster James Cuddeford as they give invaluable insights into their musical experiences. Programme also includes Goehr's chamber works that are rarely heard in HK, it will be a treat for the ears.
