Course overview

If you are new to the property field and looking to get a head start in developing your knowledge and
understanding of the property business, then you need to appreciate the role you play in the overall process of property ownership and development. After an overview of the major players in property, this seminar will explore the law that governs the ownership and management of property, and will then consider the principle functions of valuation, investment, agency, property management, development and financing. The seminar will:

• Identify the key operators in the property market
• Explain the different sectors and the ways to own, develop and gain value from property
• Set out the various legal frameworks including the Town Planning Ordinance, Building Planning
Regulation, Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation) Ordinance
• Define the principle functions of a property owner, occupier or advisor in relation to valuation, agency,
property management, fund management and development
• Identify the key issues with property funding in today’s market
At the end of the day you will be able to truly say you understand property.

Deadline for registration: Friday 6 July 2018, 16:00
