Following the success of our first ever Virtual IWD Lunch in June, we are excited to bring you a dynamic programme fostering forward-looking conversations around the theme ‘Facing Challenge | Fuelling Change’, with inspiring speakers, special guests, and heart-warming stories of programme participants to hear firsthand how your support has impacted the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong. We are thrilled to be featuring a fireside chat with the Hon Julia Gillard AC, 27th Prime Minister of Australia, and Christine Loh, Chief Development Strategist, Institute for the Environment, HKUST.Hong Kong has faced unprecedented challenges in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Women will continue to be disproportionately impacted by this crisis: juggling extra caregiving responsibilities, navigating financial and job insecurities, and facing increased risks of domestic abuse and other forms of gender-based violence. Confronting these issues also serves as an opportunity to re-calibrate our thinking and utilise these challenges as a powerful catalyst for positive change. As we enter this next phase, gender equality has never been more critical. At TWF, we are committed to forging a path forward that is gender equal – for all.The TWF community has been vital to transforming the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong and we are counting on your support, more than ever, to help us raise funds so we can to continue our critical work and deepen our impact.Luxury Draw!We would like to request a minimum donation of HK$500 to join this event. If you are able to donate this amount, you will automatically receive one complimentary ticket to the Luxury Draw, valued at HK$1,000 at our 2019 Gala. The Luxury Draw will feature a selection of six exclusive, high-end prizes including a beautiful Christian Louboutin 'Paloma LOVE' handbag, valued at HK$18,500. More prizes will be announced soon!
