The Legal Side of Being a Director - Your Duties Explained

TWF & 30% Club HK Boardroom Series is collaborating with Herbert Smith Freehills to deliver "The Legal Side of Being a Director - Your Duties Explained" workshop.

This session will enable participants to gain a better understanding of all legal requirements involved in the role of a Director.

Course outline:

• The state of governance
• Key principles of directors' duties – the role of directors, who duties are owed to, the main sources of directors' duties and the key duties and legal responsibilities
• Risks of being a director – who can bring a claim and the potential consequences for a director
• Managing individual liability – ways to manage a director's liability and the importance of good corporate governance
• Case studies
• Practical guidance

This workshop will be run three times. Please register to one session only.
