The Justice Conference Asia 2016
Fri, 13 May 2016, 7:00 PM – Sat, 14 May 2016, 10:00 PM HKT
The JUSTICE Conference Asia is an annual event designed to promote and encourage a conversation around the key justice related issues facing our communities in Asia today. Through world class speakers, Asian-based practitioners, humanitarian organizations and NGO’s, the conference brings together a network of passionate justice advocates for a dialogue that hopes to restore beauty where it has been lost within our societies.
The JUSTICE Conference draws together a diverse Community focused on Biblical and Social Justice, and has emerged as a premier gathering for Christian; Leaders, Practitioners, Students and Learners from all over the world.
Each year The JUSTICE Conference invites World-Class Visionaries, Thought Leaders and Justice Practitioners, as well as Emerging Leaders and Artists – an eclectic mix of Activists, Worshippers and Artists.
The JUSTICE Conference seeks to serve this diverse Justice Community – ‘for The Church’, and seeks to ‘mobilise The Church’ into practicing Justice as “A Way of Life”.
Aims and Objectives
The conference is designed to achieve the following:
- Encouragement to the many Christians working in difficult or isolated circumstances in SE Asia in the Justice arena
- Encouragement to churches in SE Asia to work for justice in their own social environment
- Excellent theological grounding for justice
- Practical advice and experience for and from those working on the front line

Practitioners Day– ‘LIVE JUSTICE TOGETHER'
The Justice Conference is designed to inspire and energize the Justice community in Asia and for practitioners it is a critical time of refreshing, networking and sharing. However with so many interesting sessions to attend, like-minded people do not always find time to meet together to talk, discuss and engage over areas of common interest. This year we are offering an opportunity for practitioners to meet together for a whole day geared around their particular needs and interests. This will be held on Friday May 13 before the main conference commences, and will include a catered lunch. This day has been designed to allow for enjoyable networking so that you can connect with fellow practitioners from all over Asia who have similar areas of interest and passionate hearts. We are presenting speakers that will inspire you to a fuller, more redeeming service as we work together more strategically on behalf of the most vulnerable and oppressed in the justice field.
‘Live Justice Together’ is the theme this year and Viva will host a day of equipping, connecting and encouragement intended for justice, NGO & ministry front line workers, although all are welcome. If you are a person engaged in some form of practical justice work, we invite you to attend this additional day that has been prepared because we know how taxing justice work can be and we want to specifically empower and encourage you.
The Practitioners’ Day will run from 9:00am-3:30pm. (Registration at 9:00am)
Practioners Day is proudly supported and facilitated by VIVA and Hope International.
