Outline
Traditional product development looks at feature lists and competitors’ products where development teams also work in silos. User Experience cuts across all silo-ed activities focused on the end user experience and requires inter-disciplinary collaboration. User Experience is not just about user interface and websites, it’s the outcome of a methodological process called User-Centric Innovation / Design Thinking to new product innovation that can help you clearly identify product-market fit based on user needs as well as rapid prototype and test with users to validate those needs before market launch.

Understanding the emerging market needs and cultural differences in China can also help companies position and take advantage of Hong Kong's advantages. Positioned accurately, Hong Kong design-led entrepreneurs can lead the way as Hong Kong is at the centre of the new world economic region which has already migrated to Asia, amongst half of the world's population.
