Preface Coding's "The Essential Tech Concept Series" is a collection of Tech Concept 101 for beginners, to help you quickly learn around top trending tech topics and concepts.

In this 1-hour "Data Science 101" session, you’ll get an overview of “Data Science”, from key jargons and concepts in the field, the lifecycle, business usage in large corporates, and how different roles data scientists have throughout various key business processes.

After the workshop, you can also stay over for short mingling, to network with like-minded people, tour and learn about the concept behind the venue, “Preface Coffee and Wine”!

This session is targeting Python/Data Science beginners, to get them a full picture of how Data Science can be applied to the business world.
