  • Regina Larko, Producer & Host at #impact

Chaired by Olivia Lee, the panelists will attempt to capture the insights of one of the most dynamic sectors of society: the media and its role in sustainability. More than just finding and reporting stories for public consumption, the media has a myriad of functions that can further the cause of improving the quality of life and a conscious lifestyle.

In essence, the role of media is to drive this continuum between consumers and suppliers with the aim of educating, creating awareness and generating sustainable initiatives to protect our planet. If sustainable living is about changing attitudes, adopting new shopping habits and taking action, then the media has a major role to play.

We will be discussing the role of media companies as the largest collective voice for sustainability. What are the surprises and challenges Media companies face in this day and age with sustainable content? Based on consumer demands, have they had to change the way they share content or even change the content itself?

This is a ticketed event with a seated capacity of 60 people.
