Event description
In this session we will look at environmentalism in different African contexts and discuss how care for nature looks like.

About this event

In this session we will look at environmentalism in different African contexts and discuss how care for nature looks like. This will happen through exploration of books as a starting point for conversations about an understanding of nature and furthermore how nature is taken care of by different African people.

We will look at texts by Amos Tutuola and Imbolo Mbue to help us get an understanding of this topic through literature.

The beginning of the session will provide input on the topic prepared by a member of the Africa Center. However, this session is planned as a discussion round so be prepared to share your opinions and learn from others! No prior reading is required.

We hope to see you all there!
