Join Tymi for 15 Hours of exploring and workshopping adjustments, modifications, assists & creative options in the yoga asanas. Immersion weekend includes a Vinyasa Yoga practice each day followed by workshop time for yoga teachers & students. This immersion is open to ALL.



We will discuss the 4 main methods of adjusting, energetic etiquette, practice assist’s in many different poses including but not limited to foundational standing asanas, sun salutations, floor work, inversions, Thai & partner variations and also take time for Q&A.



The goal of this workshop is to inspire and cultivate a better understanding of how to intuitively and safely assist the student in discovering more freedom, bliss and deeper expression of an asana. By understanding the biomechanics of the poses and trusting your intuitive instincts a student and teacher can deepen their practice through creative, fun exploration of the asanas.



“The Art of Alignment & Self Adjustments”

Date & Time: 29th Nov 2019 Friday 6:30-9:30pm (3 Hours)

An advanced asana practitioner is based on their degree of skillfulness, consciousness and awareness of their bodies.

In this workshop we will look at and break down the fundamental elements of the most commonly practiced poses. We will look at where we may be exploiting what’s already open, how to become unstuck and where we may be holding back that we don’t even realize. We will look at specific alignment and refinement techniques to transform the way we practice and feel as a result.

Attendees of this workshop will learn how to:

Set up poses using specific proportions and measurements determined by the body.



“Foundations of Creative and Intuitive Assisting & Adjustments”

Date & Time: 30th Nov 2019 Saturday 1-7pm (6 Hours)

This workshop begins with a Vinyasa Yoga practice to warm up the body and open the mind and heart.Followed by a lecture on the 4 main methods of adjusting, energetic etiquette and practice assist’s in the foundational poses and sequences of yoga. Alignment of Standing Asanas and Sequences will be workshopped, including but not limited too Classical Sun Salutation, Sun Salutation A & B, All Warriors, Moon Sequences and many more foundational poses. By understanding the biomechanics of the poses a student and teacher can deepen their practice through creative exploration of the asanas.



“Yoga Playground of Assisting & Adjusting”

Date & Time: 1st Dec 2019 Sunday 1-7pm (6 Hours)

This workshop will begin with a Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Practice to warm up the body in preparation for inversions and floor work. We will discuss the methods of adjusting, energetic etiquette, practice assist’s in Inversion and more advanced poses, including but not limited to backbends, headstands, handstands and fore arm balances. The workshop will wrap up with practicing assists and adjustments in Seated /Floor Asanas and Thai/Partner variations.
