Welcome to come try dragon boat at this open session!
The 852 dragon boat team is in full-force training for the upcoming race!
Whether you are a seasoned paddler or just dragon-boat curious, we welcome non-members of The 852 Dragon Boat team to try out dragon boating with us if boat capacity allows. Dragon boating is a full-body workout rooted in cultural tradition and one of the most social sports around!

Pack light : quick-dry athletic clothes, gym gloves, a bottle of water, sun protection (sunscreen, cap, sunglasses etc), towel, barefoot / watersport shoes / flip flops, dry cloths to change. Bags stored unattended; only essentials (phone/wallet) in waterproof bag during water session.

Yes, absolutely! Our coaches have over 10 years of experience training paddlers of all levels, so you’ll be in great hands. This is the perfect chance to try dragon boating, meet the team, and discover why this thrilling team sport—deeply rooted in Chinese culture—is becoming so popular worldwide!
Dragon boating is a water sport. Non-swimmers are encouraged to wear life jacket during paddling sessions. Please let our coaches know beforehand, and we will ensure you get extra attention and stay comfortable.
Not at all! Dragon boating is adaptable to all fitness levels. While it helps to have general fitness, we welcome everyone—our training will help you build strength and endurance over time.
We train weekly on Sundays, 4–6pm (water sessions). Ask any team members for details!
