TEDxHSUHK 2019: Looking Forward

This year, we want to bring together people whose ideas are for a green and integrated society.

As cities like Hong Kong grow taller but tighter, we want to harness the vast resources available to us to make the most of the limited space we have. How can we do more with less? Not just to preserve our greenery, but to help it thrive as our cities grow upwards instead of outwards.

At the same time, Hong Kong continues to attract people from varied backgrounds. How can we harness our differences to bring us together and make us better, rather than use those differences as cause for separation?

We want to hear from bright people with positive attitudes for a brighter and more positive future.

TEDxHSUHK 2019 Speakers:

Andrew has ambitious plans to reduce the volume of product being consumed in sports, schools and the corporate world, while also seeking a sustainable system of reusing and repurposing single use plastics and redundant sporting apparel. This adventure has made Andrew optimistic that the world is waking up to the impact of its consumerism and the need to be more self-sustaining.
