Teaching Skills: Teaching Phonics to Young Learners
Overview
Phonics is learning about the sounds letters make individually and in clusters. In this workshop, we look at ways to demystify letter-sound relationships for young learners as well as how to set up a logical sequence for teaching phonics, plus strategies and resources required to make the process fun and engaging.
Attendees will also receive a certificate of attendance which includes the number of teaching hours.
For the best experience, attendees should have:
- a computer or ipad style device (a phone will also work)
- stable internet access
- a headset with microphone
- a webcam
