Love them or loathe them, coursebooks are something that most teachers are required to work with. While they provide useful structure, activities and contexts to work with, all class have their own unique needs and interests that need to be met. Join this workshop to find out how to bridge the gap between your coursebook and your class

For the best experience, attendees should have:

  • a computer or ipad style device (a phone will also work)
  • stable internet access
  • a headset with microphone
  • a webcam

Attendees will also receive a certificate of attendance which includes the number of teaching hours.

Trainer: Alexandra Rubenstein

Alex has approximately 13 years experience working in the EFL industry in Mainland China, where she has held a variety of positions in teaching and education management. Before joining English for Asia, Alex was a Regional Education Manager at Education First where she oversaw the teaching department across 6 adult training schools in Guangzhou. During this time, she was involved in several national projects related to teacher development and performance management. Alex holds a Trinity Certificate in Tesol and is a candidate for the Trinity Diploma in Tesol. She currently works as an online course tutor.
