Teaching Skills: Integrating Drama into Regular English Classes
Overview
We will take a dive into the world of drama and discover innovative strategies to transform your classroom into a fun, interactive learning environment. This practical workshop will guide you through the art of adapting your existing materials into captivating drama activities that promise not only to engage but to inspire and motivate your students, and more importantly, show how drama strategies can develop soft skills.
For the best experience, attendees should have:
- a computer or ipad style device (a phone will also work)
- stable internet access
- a headset with microphone
- a webcam
Attendees will also receive a certificate of attendance which includes the number of teaching hours.
Trainer: Alexandra Rubenstein
Alex has approximately 13 years experience working in the EFL industry in Mainland China, where she has held a variety of positions in teaching and education management. Before joining English for Asia, Alex was a Regional Education Manager at Education First where she oversaw the teaching department across 6 adult training schools in Guangzhou. During this time, she was involved in several national projects related to teacher development and performance management. Alex holds a Trinity Certificate in Tesol and is a candidate for the Trinity Diploma in Tesol. She currently works as an online course tutor.
