Our exciting double bill features an original short film and an adapted play performed by a group of talents from Europe and Asia.


Date: 23rd June 2024

Venue: Hangar - Espaço Cultural

Time: 3pm and 7pm

Tickets: €14 Standard/ €10 Concession (Full time students; Disabled persons]


Each ticket grants you access to both shows. The shows are presented back to back with an intermission in between. If you get a ticket for 3pm, expect to watch our short film first, followed by an intermission, then finally our play that ends at around 5pm. If you get a ticket for 7pm, you will have watched both shows by 9pm. Any questions, simply send us a direct message on Instagram or FacebooK!
Please note that we do not sell tickets seperately for the shows at this time.

Reserve your ticket on this page and pay with cash at the door on the day. The intermission is around 15 minutes.


More details about our double bill:
1. Short Film (~25 mins with 15 mins Q&A): The Days That Matter tells the stories of three young women in Hong Kong, London and Lisbon in persuit of their new selves and new homes.


2. Short Play (~40 mins with 15 mins Q&A) The Mandarin, originally a Portugese novella by Eca de Queioroz, tells the story of a low-born man who makes a pact with the devil in exchange for the wealth of The Mandarin.

Frequently asked questions

What is a double bill?

It refers to a programme with two shows. For each ticket, you gain access to the screening of our short film and the staging of our theatre show on 23rd June 2024.

When do I see both shows?

If you get a ticket for 3pm, you will watch the short film and the play from 3-5pm, with an intermission in between. If you get a ticket for 5-7pm, you will be watching them from 7-9pm.

Are there subtitles?

We provide English subtitles for the short film. There are no subtitles for the play, but in general audience will be able to understand the play if you are proficient in English (The play contains Cantonese, Portuguese and English).
