Speaker Profile: Francesco Marchio

Francesco brings over 10 years of wine experience, working firstly in Italy as Sommelier as well as managing a wine shop in a luxury hotel. In 2009, he then moved to the UK and as a Sommelier at the prestigious Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons (2 star Michelin French Restaurant) before taking on a Sales Manager role at a specialist Italian importer based in Oxfordshire.

Since 2012, he accepted the challenge to relocate to Hong Kong to become the Managing Director in 2018 at VinoVeritas Asia Limited.

He holds the WSET Diploma qualification and in November 2018 achieved the prestigious qualification of IWE (Italian Wine Expert) from the Vinitaly International Academy.
