From this coding walk-through session, you will get a concrete mental model of how smart contracts operate and applied in businesses. This 2 part code-along series will walk you through how to create a private NFT through the use of Daml, open sourced smart contract language. The main take away isn't creating the NFT, but rather how to implement smart contracts using Daml. After this webinar you will:
- Understand Daml templates, main building block of Daml smart contracts
- Have coded smart contracts that represent NFTs
- Understand how to automate workflows using smart contracts

There are a few key concepts when it comes to coding smart contracts in Daml, and they will be grasped throughout the coding of the private NFTs. Once grasped you’ll be able to create your own smart contracts and deploy them onto a variety of blockchain infrastructures such as Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Amazon AWS Aurora, or even centalized databases.

1. Content creators can mint NFTs
2. Owners can transfer ownership of their NFTs
3. Participants must be explicitly permitted (this is different than public NFTs)
