Overview

In today’s Smart Cities, building transportation plays a critical role. As new technologies are transforming the way we move, the building transportation industry is undergoing a dramatic shift. At the same time, passengers have new expectations for their residences, workplaces and recreational spaces – which creates market demand for more customised and digitalised services.

Opened in February 2019 in Hong Kong, Otis Asia Pacific Experience and Innovation Center (E&I) showcases new innovations and ideas for the elevator and escalator industry with apps, live demos, interactive touchpoints, proactive data analytics systems and more. Building owners have a dedicated zone within the Otis E&I which highlights how they can improve their building value and attractiveness by modernising and improving the comfort and safety of tenants – a key concern in Hong Kong given the city’s aging buildings.

Agenda:

  • Trends and solutions of smart technologies for elevator industry.
  • Tour of E&I.
  • How we can make use IoT technologies to enhance passenger experience and monitor the performance of elevator.
  • Coffee Break and networking
