Looking for something fun, free, and different for your little one? Come join us for Shona Language Classes for Kids—a playful introduction to one of Africa’s most vibrant languages! 🌍

Shona is spoken in Zimbabwe and Mozambique, and it is full of rhythm, melody, and stories.

In our classes, children will:

🎵 Sing catchy songs in Shona

🎲 Play simple language games

📖 Enjoy short stories and fun expressions

😊 Pick up words and phrases while having a great time!

And here is a fun twist Shona can also act as a foundation for learning other African languages. Plus, for the curious and silly, there are even some surprising connections to Japanese🎌 that kids will love discovering.

Is this a drop-off class, or do parents stay?

Parents are welcome to stay and observe, especially for the younger ones. Many children enjoy having their parents nearby initially.

How do you keep very young children (ages 2.5–5) engaged?

We employ a playful approach, incorporating songs, games, movement, and brief activities to match their attention spans. The goal is for learning to feel like fun, not a lesson.
