Shadow puppets

Shadow Plays are a form of story telling where paper and light come together to create a showcase of wonderful tales. Together we can plan a play, create unique characters from paper and share a story in shadow, the perfect homage to the beginning of the winter seasons.

Due to our venues capacity spaces are limited. If you book onto one of our workshops we would ask you to honour your commitment to attend.

We aim for our workshops to be as accessible as possible, but would ask that you make a donation on the day if you can. Please consider contributing if you are able to support the future workshop and education programmes at Mission Gallery.

Materials are provided, limited places, booking is essential. Please inform us of any access requirements, allergies or medical conditions.

Access is by one-step entry from pavement level through our main entrance.

The workshops will take place in the gallery and education space located on the first floor of the gallery.

Due to building limitations access to the first floor education space is via steep stairs.

Staff are on hand to provide assistance if needed.

Pypedau cysgod

Mae Sioeau Cysgodion yn ffordd o adrodd straeon lle daw papur a golau ynghyd i arddangos straeon gwych. Gyda'n gilydd gallwn gynllunio drama, creu cymeriadau unigryw o bapur a rhannu stori drwy gysgodion, y ffordd berffaith i ddechrau tymor y gaeaf.

Oherwydd capasiti ein lleoliad, mae lleoedd yn brin. Os byddwch yn cadw lle yn un o'n gweithdai, gofynnwn i chi gadw at eich ymrwymiad i fod yn bresennol.

Rydym eisiau i’n gweithdai fod mor hygyrch â phosibl ond rydym yn gofyn i chi roi cyfraniad ariannol ar y diwrnod os gallwch chi. Ystyriwch gyfrannu os gallwch chi er mwyn cefnogi’r gweithdai a’r rhaglenni addysg yn Oriel Mission yn y dyfodol.
