About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Wrth i ni agor arddangosfa Merched ar Lestri yn Oriel y Mission dewch i wrando ar yr artist serameg Lowri Davies a’r bardd Elinor Gwynn yn sgwrsio am y profiad o gydweithio ar y prosiect hynod hwn. O’r syniadau cychwynnol i’r llwyfannu terfynol cawn ddysgu mwy am brosesau creadigol Lowri ac Elinor, yr heriau a’r cyfleoedd a gododd yn ystod y prosiect, ac am y modd y mae Merched ar Lestri wedi dylanwadu ar grefft a gyrfaoedd y ddwy ohonyn nhw.

Nodir bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn Gymraeg yn bennaf. Bydd y Sgwrs yn cael ei recordio ac fe fydd hwn i’w gael yn ddwy-ieithog.

Am Merched ar Lestri

Cyflwyna'r ceramegydd Lowri Davies a'r bardd Elinor Gwynn profiad dweud stori sy'n ymblethu cerameg a geiriau'n weledol.Mae Merched ar Lestri yn dathlu bywydau saith merch, oll â chysylltiad dwys â Chymru ac o ardaloedd, oedrannau a chefndiroedd amrywiol ar draws ein gwlad.

Portreadau sydd yn adrodd hanesion unigryw y merched yma yw Merched ar Lestri - gyda rhai ohonyn nhw'n adnabyddus ac eraill yn llai cyfarwydd.
