About the speaker
Urvi is the Lead Occupational Therapist at SPOT. She has Advance training in Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopment Therapy and is a DIR Floortime Expert and Training Leader. She started her journey of Sensory Integration at University of Southern California under the guidance of world renowned Dr Erna Blanche and completed her advance training in the field. Urvi has completed the Level 1 and 2 Intensive Mentorship program at the world renowned STAR Institute for SPD at Denver, Colorado, founded by Dr. Lucy Miller.
She is also a DIR Floortime Expert and Training Leader and successfully supports children on the Autism Spectrum and their families through a developmental, relationship based approach. Urvi is also a Trauma Informed Practitioner and supports children and families using attachment and trauma lens. She has additional training in auditory programs like Therapeutic Listening, Safe and Sound Protocol and Handwriting Without Tears.
