This is especially for those new to scriptwriting/screenwriting who would like to try their hand at it, or use it as a form of creative expression or processing - but all are welcome! If you are more experienced, you are welcome to join, to write alongside other writers.

Let's dive into the world of screenwriting!
In this workshop there is a clear goal: write your own 1-3 minute mini-script with guided support! Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to sharpen their storytelling skills in a fun, casual setting. You can think of it as one of those animation videos on YouTube or a commercial, or a short snippet of a larger project. Up to you!

What you will get:

• Storytelling essentials, storytelling foundations and unique ways to craft stories
• Character-building essentials and the opportunity to build a new character and center this mini-script around that character
• Prompts and characteristic options for characters
• Time to write!
• Optional chance for feedback/ideas to expand the script

What you will need to bring:

A document or software that you can use to screenwrite (you can use google docs as well, screenwriting format will be briefly explained)

Creativity!

That's it, and it is conducted online so anyone around the world is welcome to join!
