Seminar Overview

This CPD will share the experience and benefits of Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Vibration Condition Monitoring (VCM) approach for Facilities Management in Hong Kong.

HVAC is an integral part of commercial buildings in Hong Kong which serve the tenants, public area and protect critical equipment, e.g. data server rooms, transformers, cold storage etc. Due to the lack of resource and manpower issues, maintenance of HVAC equipment is becoming more and more challenging for facilities managements nowadays. VCM is a kind of PdM technique, which can improve the way of facilities managements in terms of reliability, safety, maintenance cost effective, energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality etc.
