The refugee crisis grows around the world. as refugees & asylum seekers flee to Hong Kong for safe haven. But what kind of welcome do they receive? What did they leave behind? What are their hopes and dreams? Can Hong Kong do better in supporting them? How would you feel if you lost everything...!

Li Po Chun united World College in collaboration with Branches of Hope, interviewed refugees & asylum seekers and used their own words to create a performance sharing the refugee experience in Hong Kong. The performance raises awareness on the refugee & asylum seeker situation in Hong Kong. Verbatim Theatre gives voice to the unheard and disempowered...! And the students only had one week to create the show! Performed with the support of Asia Society Center Hong Kong at the Miller Theatre on Saturday 11th March at 7.30pm. tickets are free...so make a commitment to come along and support this worthy cause...!
