Yat Siu

Yat Siu is a technology entrepreneur/investor based in Hong Kong. He is the co-founder and chairman of Animoca Brands, an ASX-listed company focusing on leveraging popular brands, gamification, AI, blockchain, and mobile technology to make engaging apps ranging from games to fitness solutions.

Yat began his career at Atari Germany in 1990. In 1995 he moved to Hong Kong to establish Hong Kong Cybercity/Freenation, the first Asian free web page, and email provider. In 1998, Yat set up Outblaze, an award-winning pioneer of multilingual white label web services. He sold Outblaze’s services business to IBM in 2009 and pivoted Outblaze to become a conglomerate specializing in cloud, AI, blockchain, and mobile software.

Yat is a director for TurnOut Ventures, a partnership between Outblaze and Turner Entertainment that brought to prominence the hugely popular emoticon character Tuzki. In 2017 he set up the Dalton Learning Lab, an afterschool lab environment that supplements Hong Kong students with skills not emphasized by the local education system, including divergent thinking and design thinking. He is the founder of ThinkBlaze, the research arm of Outblaze investigating socially meaningful issues in technology. Yat has earned numerous accolades including Global Leader of Tomorrow at the World Economic Forum, and Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the DHL/SCMP Awards. A classically trained musician, Yat is a member of the advisory board of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) and a director of the Asian Youth Orchestra.

Jehan Chu

Jehan Chu is the co-founder and Managing Partner at Kenetic, a blockchain Venture Capital and cryptocurrency trading firm based in Hong Kong. A former front-end developer, he started investing in cryptocurrency in 2013 and has invested and supported over 100 projects. Jehan founded the Ethereum HK community (2014), co-founded the Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong (2014), and founded the Hyperledger HK community (2016).

Jehan serves as co-Chairman of the Hong Kong Fintech Association Blockchain Committee, is enrolled in the Kauffman Fellows Program, is a Fellow of the Singapore University of Social Science and member of the Global Patrons Board of San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. He also sits on the Board of Para Site Art Space and is co-Founder and Board member of Social Alpha Foundation, a blockchain/social impact non-profit. Jehan holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University and an MA from Hong Kong University.

Sebastien Borget

Sebastien Borget is the co-founder and COO of Pixowl (acquired by Animoca Brands in 2018) as well as TSB Gaming, developer of The Sandbox franchise (40M players). Passionate for blockchain technology, gaming, and education. He is a very active speaker and evangelist on the opportunity Non-Fungible Tokens brings to gaming. He is now building the metaverse with The Sandbox, one of the 2019’s most anticipated and top-ranked blockchain games (#13 in the Top 50), that is empowering players through NFTs, enabling them to own, buy, sell and trade their 3D voxel creations on their Marketplace and use them in their Game Maker. Sebastien also became the President of the Blockchain Game Alliance in 2020.
