Overview

Real Estate Investment Trust (REITs) today have emerged as an easy exit option for asset owners. Large Asset owning businesses and Real Estate Private Equity firms look at REITs as an exit point. They have further facilitated the integration between Capital Markets and Real Estate Markets, than ever before, fulfilling their essential role in providing the opportunity to benefit from large, diversified holdings of real estate.
This two-day REITs masterclass course will take you through the transformational journey of REITs, giving you a detailed step by step approach, from understanding the dynamics of REITs to building your assets in public markets.

 

This course will include a case sharing session, in which Ms Luna Fong, General Manager, Corporate Development & Strategy of Link REIT, will share with you about their business model and strategies, what AEI Link REIT has done, in a historical perspective, e.g. how the older programs have done on an IRR / per share growth level.

Mr Victor Yeung MRICS
Chief Investment Officer, Admiral Investment Limited

Mr Victor Yeung is Admiral’s founding managing partner and chief investment officer. Since 2013, he has been responsible for our overall firm strategy and day-to-day management of the Admiral products. Since 2018, Victor has also been appointed as an Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Real Estate and Construction at the University of Hong Kong.

From 2007 to 2013, Victor was with LaSalle Investment Management, where he managed the Asia Pacific portion of the USD 10 billion Global Real Estate Securities program and eventually became its Managing Director, Asia Pacific Securities. Victor started the Asia Pacific Securities office for LaSalle Investment. He also previously worked for Morgan Stanley and American Express.

Victor is a frequent speaker on real estate, with a long history of introducing REITs, high dividend stocks, and overseas property to the public. An overseas property book co-authored by Victor has been used for overseas property expos sponsored by Clipper REA, an Admiral advised company.
