Welcome to RACMEM Shenzhen 2025! Join us at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences for an exciting in-person event.

RACMEM Conference

The RACMEM meetings are held every 3-4 years and bring together scientists and technologists from around the world who have an interest in energy balance and calorimetry. The meetings consist of a mix of oral presentation sessions, debates, technical sessions and round table discussions. The full program can be found on the RACMEM website at www.racmem.com

We have space for 17 contributed 15 minutes oral presentations and 60 poster presentations. The closing date for abstract submissions for consideration to be one of these will be the 30st of June, with decisions by the middle of July. Please indicate when you register if you propose to submit something, and we will add you to the abstract submission mailing list. Further details will then follow.

What does the registration include?

• Full access to all the academic and technical sessions
• Food and drink at all the coffee tea and lunch breaks for 5 days
• Entry to the welcome reception on Monday the 13th
• Entry to the conference dinner on Wednesday the 15th

It does not include

• Travel costs to Shenzhen
• Visa fees
• Hotel fees
• Transportation between hotels and the venue
• Meals on the Tuesday and Thursday evenings

Refund policy scheme

If you cancel before the 1st August we will refund in full (minus the processing fees paid to Eventbrite and the management company: about 12%). After 1st August we will only refund in extenuating circumstances.
