Event overview

It is crucial for property professionals to understand that their actions add or detract from the overall investment value of property. Being able to value a property will put you at the top of your profession and help you to retain your clients. This half-day course is designed to equip property professionals, or anyone who has little or no knowledge of property valuation and market assessment, to recognise the purpose of valuations and the importance of cash flow timings, and to understand how to improve property value through active management.

This course will be particularly helpful to you if you would like to gain in–depth knowledge in valuation and commercial property. Property/commercial managers, property owners, property agents, property investors, asset managers and facility managers are encouraged to attend this course. The course will:

  • Explain various approaches to valuation
  • Set out the different types of valuation users, and their purposes in commissioning valuations
  • State income sources for commercial property valuation
  • List factors affecting valuation
  • Introduce different property valuation approaches
  • Enable the improvement of property value through active management
